• When Umar Ibn al khattab (R.A) entered Jerusalem

  Umar immediately set about making the city an important Muslim landmark. He cleared the area of the Temple Mount, where Muhammad ﷺ ascended to heaven from. The Christians had used the area as a garbage dump to offend the Jews, and Umar and his army (along with some Jews) personally cleaned it and built a mosque – Masjid al-Aqsa – there.

• Eloquence of the Glorious Quran

  “And what I say? For I swear by Allah, there is none amongst you that knows poetry as well as I do, no can any compete with me in composition or rhetoric – not even in the poetry of Jinns (Ghosts) ! and yet, I swear by Allah, Mohammad’s (PBUH) speech (Holey Qur’an) does not bear any similarity to anything I know and I swear by Allah, The speech he says is very sweet, and is adorned with beauty and charm. Its first part is fruitful and second part is abundant(that it is full of deep meaning) and it conquers (all other speech) and remain unconquered ! It shatters and destroys all that come before it (because of its eloquence)”

• Holey Quran in America

  Holy Quran became the center of a controversy, when the first Muslim ever
  elected to Congress, Keith Ellison, a Democrat from Minnesota, asked if he could place his hand
  on it while taking his oath of office — a request that elicited tremendous screeches from the talk
  radio extremists.
